60s STAR STYLE; Jenny boyd

One of my favourite models from the Sixties has to be Jenny Boyd, sibbling of the lovely Patti boyd who was George Harrison's wife.

Born Helen Mary boyd in 1947 in Guilford, Surrey she later became to be known as "Jenny" after she was given her nickname by her infant sister Patty after her favourite doll.

She dated folk rock star Donovan who wrote the famous song Jennifer Juniper about her.

Then in 1970 she married Fleetwood Mac drummer Mick Fleetwood on June 12, and they had two daughters: Amy Rose and Lucy. After divorcing Fleetwood (and remarrying and redivorcing him), Jenny eventually married drummer Ian Wallace (formerly of King Crimson).
She attended UCLA in the late 1980s and earned a Ph.D. in psychology, and became a clinical consultant and author. She co-authored a book about music and psychology, titled Musicians in Tune.

She possesed effortless rock star style and was one of the only girls who could wear a full on medieval dress and not look like a ridiculous wench from a pantomime.

She wore everything that I pine for ; Tight leather jackets with cream ruffle shirts, velvet deco patterned suits, and a myriad of medieval style garbs which Im sure she got from working in the beatles  apple boutique who had in-house designers called the Fool. They were a group of Scandanavian artists who were responsible for painting the mural on the side of the boutique which had landed them in trouble, they also designed and sold clothes in the shop in much of a medieval and folkloric style.
Lucky girl!

SHOES!!!

Sadly those with feet larger than a size 5 often find the quest for vintage shoes a failure and must turn to the highstreet.

However, finding the right sixties looking pair of shoes on the high street can be like looking for a needle in a haystack. I always manage to find something that doesn't look quite right about them; the heel is not the right shape or the material looks really cheap etc.
Finally Office are doing a few pairs of top notch shoes!
Check out these marvels! Hurry as these are on sale!

Now why can't more high street shops do this and stop churning out weird futuristic Cyper clogs!?
